Continuing Medical Education (CME) recertification is available to currently New York state-certified EMTs. The program allows EMTs to recertify by taking continuing education courses (in-person and online) and completing skills verification, instead of taking the traditional recertification course and State written and skills exams. Our office coordinates a complete CME program that meets all needs and requirements of the State and Medical Director Dr. Brian Walters. In order to join the CME program, your EMS agency must participate and you must register into the program with your agency's CME Coordinator.
