2025 Community Health Survey

A survey was conducted from March 11, 2025 until April 14, 2025 to gain community input on the areas that should be focused on for the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). A raffle for (2) $50 Greater Olean Area Chamber of Commerce gift cards was offered as a participation incentive. Winners will be drawn in April 2025. Thank you to all who participated! Focus Groups will be held in April and May 2025 as the next phase of research for the 2025-2030 CHA-CHIP.

Respiratory Syncytial Virus Infection (RSV)

Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection is a common respiratory illness caused by a virus. Anyone can be infected, but RSV most often causes serious illness in infants and very young children. Learn more about preventing RSV spread with vaccines, managing symptoms and care, and how to protect loved ones at the greatest risk of getting very ill.

Rabies Prevention

New York State rabies law requires all pets (dogs, cats, ferrets) to be vaccinated against rabies by 4 months of age. Learn more.
