Duties and Services
- Installing, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting the computer network and servers
- Installing and maintaining the network infrastructure including cabling, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Upgrading and repairing PC's, laptops and peripherals
- Purchasing and installing computer hardware and software, striving to acquire aggressive pricing and standardize the installed base of technology
- Email system maintenance
- Maintaining software packages and developing customized interfaces
- Help Desk support
- Maintain virus protection system for county PC's
- Review and evaluate proposed software and hardware purchases
- Maintain Internet access
- Perform Disaster Recovery tasks including backup of servers
- Maintain and upgrade telephone systems
- Support for County copiers
- Cellular Phone Purchasing and Support
- Remote Access Support
