Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 residents within Cattaraugus County. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now seventy one as there are three hundred residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
The Cattaraugus County Legislature will hold a Board Meeting on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, beginning at 4 PM, in the Legislative Chambers, 303 Court Street, Little Valley, New York.

Please be advised that on or about October 5, 2020 the Yard Waste Compost Facilities located on the closed landfill sites located on Farwell Road in the Town Ischua, aka Farwell Compost Facility and Toad Hollow Road in the Town of Mansfield, aka Five Points Compost Facility, have been secured and are unavailable to the public for use on a temporary basis.

Cattaraugus County Health Department is sad to report the fifteenth death of a resident of Cattaraugus County due to COVID-19 related complications. He was an 86 year old male who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome his illness despite aggressive medical treatment.
We extend our deepest condolences to his family and the entire Cattaraugus County community.

Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of eleven additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 residents within Cattaraugus County. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now sixty four as there are two hundred and eighty residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
Cattaraugus County has been working in conjunction with hazard mitigation consultant Tetra Tech, Inc. since July 2019 to update the County’s Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). Each municipality within the County has collaborated to develop respective mitigation strategies. Cattaraugus County Health Department is sad to report the fourteenth death of a resident of Cattaraugus County due to COVID-19 related complications. She was a 65 year old female who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome her illness despite aggressive medical treatment.
