SCAM: Medicare/Health Insurance Fraud
Problem
Medicare recipients will be receiving a new Medicare card between April 2018 - April 2019 free of charge, scammers will be posing as Medicare agents or health care providerstelling seniors they need to purchase a replacement card.

The Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism calls for local (Cattaraugus County) photographers/videographers to submit a brief snapshot of their work and interests along with information about past experience. There will be several photographers/videographers chosen to provide photos and or videos on specific activities/events/locations in the County related to Tourism. This work is open to ALL photographers, professional or amateur.

Sessions will occur on Mondays and Fridays from 10:00-11:00 a.m. starting on Monday, August 13, 2018 and ending on Friday, October 5, 2018 and will be held at the Olean Senior Center.

Cathy Mackay, director of the Cattaraugus County Department of the Aging, has announced the Twenty-Fourth (24th) Annual Senior Forum and Public Hearing will be held Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the Ellicottville Senior High School beginning at 9:00 a.m. The forum is free and open to all Senior Citizens, their Caregivers, and those interested in Senior Services.
