RESCINDED DIRECTIVE 1-2020
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, NEW YORK
I, Howard V. VanRensselaer, Chairman, Cattaraugus County Legislature, in accordance with a declaration of a State of Emergency issued on March 15, 2020 and subsequent extensions thereto and pursuant to Section 25 of the State Executive Law, hereby issue the following directive(s):
The Department of Motor Vehicles Offices in Little Valley and Delevan are hereby closed to the public and to employees of Cattaraugus County, except for necessary maintenance and repair.
This Directive, along with Amendment No. 1, Amendment No. 2 and Amendment No. 3, is here by rescinded effective immediately.

DIRECTIVE 18-2021
CATTARAUGUS COUNTY, NEW YORK
I, Howard V. VanRensselaer, Chairman, Cattaraugus County Legislature, in accordance with a
declaration of a State of Emergency issued on March 15, 2020, and subsequent extensions
thereto, and pursuant to Section 25 of the State Executive Law, hereby issue the following
directive(s):
To protect the safety and welfare of the residents and employees of The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center-Olean and Machias Campuses, all unvaccinated employees that have requested a medical or religious exemption shall be provided the following accommodations to work in the facilities and shall:
- submit to COVID testing twice per week; and
- wear a properly fit tested N95 Respirator and Eye Protection or wear a PAPR Machine at all times while in the facility.
This Directive is effective at 12:01 a.m. on September 27, 2021 and shall remain in effect until rescinded or until the State of Emergency expires, whichever occurs first.
