I, Howard V. VanRensselaer, Chairman, Cattaraugus County Legislature, in accordance with a declaration of a State of Emergency issued on March 15, 2020, and subsequent extensions thereto, and pursuant to Section 25 of the State Executive Law, hereby issue the following directive(s):

To protect the safety and welfare of the employees of the Cattaraugus County Health Department, all unvaccinated employees that have requested a medical or religious exemption shall be provided the following accommodations to work in the facilities and shall:

1) wear a properly fit tested N95 mask when walking around the Health Department facility unless they are alone in their work space or in a private office space.

This Directive is effective at 12:01 a.m. on October 7, 2021 and shall remain in effect until rescinded or until the State of Emergency expires, whichever occurs first.
