Cattaraugus County Health Department is sad to report the deaths of five residents of Cattaraugus County due to COVID-19 related complications.

The one hundred and eighty-ninth through one hundred and ninety-second recorded deaths were four men, ages 38, 47, 63, and 69 years old, who developed respiratory failure and were unable to overcome their illness despite aggressive medical treatment.

The one hundred and ninety-third recorded death was a 68 year old female, who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome her illness despite aggressive medical treatment.

We extend our deepest condolences to their families and the entire Cattaraugus County community.
