Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 residents within Cattaraugus County. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now one hundred and nine as there are three hundred and seventy three residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
The four hundred and ninety sixth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history. She is a healthcare worker who reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She recently developed migraines, congestion and a running nose. She was tested for COVID-19 on October 30th and her test results on November 3rd indicated that she was positive for the virus.
The four hundred and ninety seventh confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She recently developed congestion, chills, running nose, and body aches. She was tested for COVID-19 on October 30th and her test results on November 2nd indicated that she was positive for the virus.
The four hundred and ninety eighth confirmed case is a male resident who resides in the southwest quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. He recently developed fever, cough, and body aches. He was tested for COVID-19 on October 31st and his test results on November 2nd indicated that he was positive for the virus.
The four hundred and ninety ninth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the northeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She recently developed congestion, cough, and running nose. She was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on November 3rd and her test results indicated that she was positive for the virus.
