Updates to Directives in Cattaraugus County, New York pertaining to the Dept. of Motor Vehicles Offices, Treasurer's Office, and the Board of Elections.
Directive 1-2020 - Amendment No. 2
I, Howard V. VanRensselaer, Chairman, Cattaraugus County Legislature, in accordance with a declaration of a State of Emergency issued on March 15, 2020 and subsequent extensions thereto and pursuant to Section 25 of the State Executive Law, hereby issue the following directive(s):
- The Department of Motor Vehicles Office in Delevan will remain closed to the public.
- The Department of Motor Vehicles Offices in Olean and Little Valley will be open to the public. However, there is a new appointment system in place for customers of the Department of Motor Vehicles Offices in Olean and Little Valley. Appointments will be given priority over walk-in customers.
- All customers are required to wear a face-covering and must follow the social distancing guides provided.
- No permit testing will be performed until further notice.
This Directive is effective June 22, 2020 and shall remain in effect until rescinded or until the
State of Emergency expires, whichever occurs first.
Rescinded Directive 4-2020
I, Howard V. VanRensselaer, Chairman, Cattaraugus County Legislature, in accordance with a declaration of a State of Emergency issued on March 15, 2020 and subsequent extensions thereto and pursuant to Section 25 of the State Executive Law, hereby rescind the following directive:
The Treasurer's Office in Olean is hereby closed to the public and to employees of Cattaraugus County, except for necessary maintenance and repair.
This Directive is hereby rescinded effective immediately.
Rescinded Directive 12-2020
I, Howard V. VanRensselaer, Chairman, Cattaraugus County Legislature, in accordance with a declaration of a State of Emergency issued on March 15, 2020 and subsequent extensions thereto and pursuant to Section 25 of the State Executive Law, hereby rescind the following directive:
The Board of Elections shall be open on a limited schedule as follows:
Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
This Directive is hereby rescinded effective immediately.
