Cattaraugus County, NY — The Cattaraugus County Department of Economic Development, Planning and Tourism (EDPT) is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Group B Tourism Promotion Grant Program. Interested parties are encouraged to apply by December 6, 2024.

This grant program utilizes a portion of the bed tax to fund initiatives that advertise and promote new or expanded tourism events, unique festivals, attractions, and experiences aimed at attracting visitors for extended stays, overnight trips, and day excursions. The program emphasizes the importance of initiatives that enhance visitor experiences through the development of specific themes and significant attractions.

Eligible applicants include Chambers of Commerce without full-time staff, business associations, non-profit organizations, festivals, events, and other tourism-related activities. All recipients will work in partnership with the Cattaraugus County Tourism Department.
