The 2019 State/Local Primary Election in Cattaraugus County is set for noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 25. Learn about the upcoming 2019 Primary Elections and view the sample ballots.
There will be a countywide Republican Primary for State Senator 57th District to choose a candidate to run in the November election to fill a one-year vacancy created by the resignation of Catharine Young.
Republican Primaries for County Legislator will be held in Districts 1, 7 and 8. Other Republican primaries will also take place in City of Olean Wards 2 and 6 (for alderman seats), as well as several other town races in the county.
Four parties, Democratic, Republican, Conservative and Independence will hold primaries for Salamanca City Court Judge.
The only other Democratic primary in the county is for Highway Superintendent in Great Valley,
