5 members in the Human Services Committee.

This committee shall have charge of all matters relating to the following departments:

• Aging
• Community Services
• Coroners
• Health
• Nursing Homes
• Social Services
• Veterans Service Agency
• Youth Bureau.

In addition, the committee shall have the following responsibilities:

• General jurisdiction over all matters relating to the general welfare of persons in the County.

Liaison with the following contract agencies:

• Association for Retarded Children
• Council on Alcoholism & Substance Abuse
• Day Care Centers
• Mental Health Society.

Liaison with Cattaraugus-Allegany Workforce Investment Board.
