Have you thought about opening your heart and home to a child in need? Unfortunately, 2024 has been a hard year for the vulnerable children in Cattaraugus County and we are in need of foster parents. We are holding an Informational Meeting where interested residents can come and ask questions. This is a no pressure meeting to answer your questions and discuss the path to becoming a foster parent.
The product, "Beberoad New Moon Travel Bassinets", are recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) until further notice. The recalled bassinets violate federal safety regulations for Infant Sleep Products because they do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard if used on elevated surfaces.
With deep regret and sadness, the East Otto Fire Department and the Cattaraugus County Office of Emergency Services provide the following information on the Funeral Procession information to honor past Fire Chief, current Assistant Fire Chief, and Cattaraugus County Senior Emergency Services Dispatcher Timothy Lexer, who passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024.
The planning division serves as staff to the 13-member County Planning Board, which must act upon referrals from local municipalities sent to the county under Section 239 I of New York State General Municipal Law. The staff makes recommendations to the County Planning Board regarding these referrals.
The Cattaraugus County Planning Board meets on the last Thursday of each month, at 6:30 PM at the County Center Building (303 Court Street, Little Valley, NY), unless otherwise noted on the agenda.
