Cattaraugus County Health Department is sad to report the sixth death of a resident of Cattaraugus County due to COVID-19 related complications. She was a 74 year old female who developed respiratory failure and was unable to overcome her illness despite aggressive medical treatment.
We extend our deepest condolences to her family and the entire Cattaraugus County community.

Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of its two hundred and sixteenth confirmed case of COVID-19. The reporting laboratory was Quest Erie Associated Clinical Laboratories, Erie, PA. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now five as there are two hundred and six residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
