Public Works was created in 1985 by the Cattaraugus County Legislature to consolidate the operation of the Highway and Refuse divisions. The Commissioner of Public Works assumed the administrative supervision of these units of county government.
Onoville Marina - Located on the 12,000 acre Allegheny Reservoir, the Marina is just north of the Allegheny National Forest and west of Allegany State Park.

The duties and responsibilities of the Cattaraugus County Treasurer's Office are to receive, deposit and safeguard all County funds or funds in which the County may have an interest.
The Treasurer's Office is answerable for bank accounts; accounting records; investment of funds; payment of all authorized bills and debts of the County government, its departments and agencies.
